Emma C. was born on December 30th, 1855 in Wells, VT.1   Emma C.'s father was Benjamin Rider and her mother was Jane Austin. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Egbert, Elmer, Lewis, Ada and Charlotte.  She died at the age of 76 on February 19th, 1932 in Randolph, Orange County, Vermont.1
