William Remey

William was born in 1712 in Westmoreland, Virginia.¹ William's father was Jacob Remey and his mother was Ann Stanford. His paternal grandparents were Jacob [Jacques] Remy and Mary Spencer; his maternal grandfather was Robert Sanford. He had six brothers and a sister, named John, Sanford, Benjamin, Joseph, Joseph, William and Mary.¹
