Nathaniel was born in 1659.1   Nathaniel's father was Nathaniel Rawlins and his mother was Lydia Sylvester.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Rawlins and Mary Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Richard Sylvester and Naomi Torrey. He had a brother and four sisters, named Nathaniel, Ruth, Patience, Elizabeth and Elizabeth.  He died about 1660.1
