John Nelson Pomeroy 
John Nelson was born on May 5th, 1820 in Franklin, Vermont.1 John Nelson's father was Enoch Pomeroy and his mother was Mary "Polly" Tenney. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Pomeroy and Ruth Phelps. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Elijah Isaac, Enoch, Jesse, Lorenzo, John Nelson, Lucien, Mary, Melissa and Hannah. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 81 on February 27th, 1902 in East Fairfield, Vermont.1 -
