John Plympton 
John was born in 1620 in CAMBRIDGE, ENGLAND.1 John's father was John Plympton. His paternal grandparents were William Plumpton and Anne Griffin. He was an only child. He died at the age of 57 in 1677 in DEERFIELD, MASS.1 General Notes

John Plympton, Jr. (1620-1677) came from Cambridgeshire, England to New England in 1630, settled at Roxbury Mass in 1641, at Dedham, Mass in 1645, to Medfield, Mass in 1652. He was one of the proprietors of Deerfield Mass in 1673, was a sgt. in the militia, was captured and burned at the stake by Indians in 1677.
