Thomas Abner was born on December 3rd, 1859 in Charles City, Floyd, Ia.1 Thomas Abner's father was Chancy W. Pierce and his mother was Susan Jane Gordon. His paternal grandparents were Abner Pierce and Keziah Kidder. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William H., Charles E., Fred R., Sarah N. and Stella Cora. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers named James Franklin and Willam H.. He died at the age of 110 in 1969 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wood, Wi.1 General Notes
