Jennie was born on February 19th, 1860 in Backus Settlement, Alex Bay,NY.1   Jennie's father was Albert Pierce and her mother was Emilia Campbell.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Pierce and Eliza; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Campbell and Elizabeth Unknown.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 86 in November 1946.1
