Chester was born on March 9th, 1833 in Gainesville, Genesse, NY.1   Chester's father was Abner Pierce and his mother was Keziah Kidder. He had a brother named Chancy W..  He was the younger of the two children.  He died at the age of 83 in 1916 in Marble Rock, Floyd, Ia.1
