Hester Pickering 
Hester was born on July 7th, 1800 in Fleming, VA.1 Hester's father was Enos Ellis Pickering and her mother was Sally Conrad. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Ellis, George, Joseph, Elizabeth, Jane and Sarah Sally. She died at the age of 69 on August 1st, 1869 in OH. She was buried in Rushaw Cemetery, Ottawa County, OH.1 1 General Notes

!He stated confusion over Hester's birth place, some of the famly stated she was
born in Fleming, Virginia, while others stated that she was born in Flushing,
Ohio.
!He felt some of the confusion may have come from the fact that at the time of
her birth, Ohio still belonged to Virginia may account for the conflict.
