Josiah Phillips

Josiah was born in 1817.¹   Josiah's father was Josiah Phillips and his mother was Sally Newell.  His paternal grandparents were Caleb Phillips and Martha Bishop. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Caleb, Joseph N, Berzalia, Laura, Mercy, Sally, Betsey, Alvira, Louisa and Precilla.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 46 in 1863 in New Orleans, LA.¹
