1   Ira's father was Chad Phillips and her mother was Sarah Weller.  Her paternal grandparents were Caleb Phillips and Martha Bishop. She had a brother and five sisters, named Seth, Marenda, Nancy, Percilla, Rhoda and Elizabeth.1
