Stella B. was born on December 30th, 1881 in Fayette, Ky.1   Stella B.'s father was John Breckenridge Phelps and her mother was Sarah Susan Olive Martin.  Her paternal grandparents were William C. Phelps and Sarah Ann Hunter; her maternal grandparents were Wilson Martin and Mary Ann Peek. She had four brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Lucien, Henry B., Herman Wilson and Mayme S..  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 81 on February 10th, 1963 in Lexington, Fayette, Ky.  She was buried in Lexington Cem, Lexington, Ky.1 1
