Thomas was born in 1709 in Nansemond County, Virginia?.1   Thomas' father was Peter Parker and his mother was Elizabeth.  His paternal grandfather was Peter Parker. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, Mary and Ann.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 53 in 1762 in Bertie County, North Carolina.1
