Joel Parker

Joel was born on August 21st, 1818 in Wayne, Kentucky.¹   Joel's father was James Washington Parker and his mother was Nancy Miller.  His maternal grandparents were Fredrick Miller and Mary. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Gene, John, William, James W, Polly, Elizabeth, Synthia and Melinda.  He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 81 on June 26th, 1900.¹
