Rebecca was born in 1624 in Fairsted, Essex, England.1 Rebecca's father was Richard Olmstead and her mother was Frances Slany. Her paternal grandparents were James Olmstead and Jane Bristow. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, Richard, Mary and Sarah.1 General Notes
