Ira Sales Vought was born on January 22nd, 1866 in Cheshire Township, Allegan Co. Michigan.1 Ira Sales Vought's father was William Jackson Vought and his mother was Mary Almira Noble. His paternal grandparents were John Christian Vought and Anna Owen. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William Henry, Joseph Albert, George Alvin Christian, John C W, Sarahette C, Sarah Jane, Maria and Mary E. He died at the age of 88 on March 4th, 1954.1 -
