John was born in 1816 in ,Miami,OH.1 John's father was Henry Neal and his mother was Mary Duncan. His maternal grandparents were Samuel Duncan and Mary Embree. He had two brothers and a sister, named Mahlon, Thomas C. and Sarah A.. He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Benjamin and Unknown. He died at the age of 31 on January 29th, 1847 in ,Clay,IN.1 -
