Nelson Aldrich Nash 
Nelson Aldrich was born on January 2nd, 1843 in Columbia Co., New York.1 Nelson Aldrich's father was Nelson Bassett Nash and his mother was Melvina Shutts. His paternal grandparents were Alva Nash and Tirzah Bassett. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Seymour, Stephen Alfred, Francis M., Franklin Vernon, Henry G., Adelia Mary, Amelia Sarah and Alice Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.1 -
