Stephen Napier

Stephen was born about 1723 in Virginia.¹ Stephen's father was Robert Napier and his mother was Mary Hughes. His paternal grandparents were Robert Napier and Mary Perrin; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Hughes and Sarah Tarleton. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Patrick, Ashford, Robert, Frances, Judith and Joyce. He was the second oldest of the seven children.¹
