The IGI (Version 2.18) shows an Anna MacCoy born on 18 Oct 1738 in Gloucester, Essex Co., MA. This could be our Anna since we know thwt her husband, Daniel Ryan, was "of Marblehead", not too far from Gloucester.
Tewksbury Congregational Church records show that Anna McCoy married Dr. Daniel Ryan on 8 Nov 1757. The same records show that Dr. Ryan's wife was admitted to the church on 30 Sept 1759.
An interesting item in the Tewksbury Congregational Church records shows a dismissal of "Anna wife to Dr. Daniel Ryan to one of ye churches in Marblehead". The date is Oct 4 of 1760-1763 (the writing is at the edge of the page).
On 3 July 1769 "James McCoy of Tewksbury in the County of Middlesex in the Province of Massachusetts Bay in New England yeoman in Consideration of the natural love and affection I do bear towards my daughter Anna Ryan the wife of Daniel Ryan of Marblehead in the County of Essex in the Province aforesaid Apothecary and in consideration of forty pounds lawful money of the province aforesaid to me in hand well and truly paid by the said Daniel Ryan and for other good causes me thereto moving do hereby give grant bargain and convey and confirm unto the said Anna Ryan and to her children born of her body that parcel of land containing about forty acres with my dwelling House and barn thereon situated in said Tewksbury". -from Middlesex County Registry of Deeds, Cambridge.
