Robert E. was born on October 28th, 1884 in Longmont, Colorado.1 Robert E.'s father was Vandiver McCory and his mother was Ellen Daily. His paternal grandparents were Joel E. McCory and Mary Ann Reedman. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Charles C., John J., Vandiver W., Earnest, Mary May and Daisy Dean. He was the youngest of the seven children.1 -
