Harriet Amelia was born on June 25th, 1876 in near West Branch, Cedar County, Iowa.1 Harriet Amelia's father was Mathias Markle and her mother was Harriet MacCormick. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Markle and Anna Konkle; her maternal grandparents were Isaac MacCormack and Jane Tanner. She was an only child. She died at the age of 72 on February 7th, 1949 in Tipton, Cedar County, Iowa.1 -
