Mary J. was born about 1856 in GA.1 Mary J.'s father was David Hugh Manson and her mother was Nancy A. Fleeming. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Manson and Margaret Fleeting. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard Fleeting, John F., Frank, Sarah, Margaret and Nancy A.. She was the second oldest of the seven children.1 -
