Sophie Wilhelmine was born on May 26th, 1856 in Kirchdorf, Hanover, Germany.1   Sophie Wilhelmine's father was Johann Friedrich Lintelman and her mother was Sophie Eleonure Horstmann.  Her paternal grandparents were Christoph Lintelman and Catharina Hedwig Plate; her maternal grandparents were Heinrich Hermann Horstmann and Marie Elisabeth Graue. She had a sister named Maria.  She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Fritz D., Christ, Doris, Emma and Ida.  She died at the age of 71 on August 3rd, 1927.  She was buried on August 7th, 1927 in West Salem, La Crosse, Wisconsin.1 1
