Josephine was born on January 21st, 1886 in Irvington, CA..1 Josephine's father was John A. Levada and her mother was Mary A. Garcia. Her paternal grandfather was Manuel C. Oliveira. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, John E., Mary, Marion A., Theresa, Louise, Minnie and Anne. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 100 on June 15th, 1986 in Walnut Creek, CA..1 General Notes

Josephine E. Mahoney WALNUT CREEK - Jossephine E. Mahoney, 98, died
Sunday at a Walnut CreeK convalescent hospital. A native of Fremont and
a 10 year Walnut Creek resident, she was a homemaker. She is survived by
her niece, Dorothy Buzzini of Concord, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bryant and Moore
Chapel, Concord. Burial to follow at Holy Spulchre Cemetery, Hayward.
