James was born about 1643.1 James' father was James Leonard and his mother was Mary Martin. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Leonard. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, Benjamin, Uriah, Hannah, Abigail and Rebecca. He died on November 1st, 1726 in Taunton?.1 General Notes
