Glen Norman's father was Thomas Leon and his mother was Engeborg Midboe. His maternal grandparents were Even Midboe and Engeborg Haugo. He had a brother and two sisters, named Sidney Jerome, Gladys Theodora and Vera Tillia Caroline.
