¹ Carrie's father was James Robert Lee and her mother was Lucy Anna Goodall Strigles. Her paternal grandparents were David B. Lee and Sarah Jane Beard. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Frank, Allen, Harry, Junius, Essie, Lena and Minnie.¹
