John Laycock 
John was born in 1798.1 John's father was David Laycock and his mother was Rachel Swick. His maternal grandparents were Tunis Swick and Rachel Rose. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Tunis, David, Martin Swick, Abraham Bloomer, Henry, Mary, Lovina, Mercy, Elizabeth, Rachel, Hannah and Lydia. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.1 -
