  OREGON - Erwin F. Lappley, age 69, died on Tuesday, Setember 7, 1976 at a
  Madison Hospital after a brief illness.  Born November 7, 1906, in the
  town of Fitchburg, he married the former Dorothy Legg on January 1,
  1929in Madison.  He had lived his life in the Oraegon area.  He was a
  retired farm implement dealer and Chevrolet sales.   He was a member of
  the First United Prysbyterian Church, Oregon, Oregon Masonic Lodge No.
  151,  Valley of Madison Consistory, Zor Shrine and a former member of the
  Zor Shrine Camel Patrol.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, at home; a
  daughter, Mrs. Francis Killerlain, Oregon; two sons, Walton (Bud), rural
  Brooklyn, John rural Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Lurene Barkhahn, Middleton;
  and several grtandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Friday,
  Septemer 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the B.L. BOOTH Funeral Home, Oregon.   Rev.
  Fred Loutsenhizer officiating.  Burial in Rose Lawn Memoria Park,
  Madison.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday,
  Sept.9, where a Masonic service will be held at 8:45 p.m.
