John Langworthy

John was born on April 1st, 1776 in North stonington, CT.¹ John's father was John Langworthy and his mother was Altana Babcock. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Langworthy and Content Sanford; his maternal grandparents were Oliver Babcock and Anna Avery. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joshua, Asa, Abigail, Elizabeth and Content. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 80 on June 5th, 1856.¹
