John was born on May 14th, 1747 in Probably Litchfield, Ct..1 John's father was Daniel Landon and his mother was Martha Youngs. His paternal grandparents were James Landon and Mary Vaill; his maternal grandfather was John Youngs. He had six brothers and a sister, named Seth, Nathan, Oliver, Joseph, Abner, Daniel and Holly. He died at the age of 82 in September 1829 in Litchfield, Ct..1 -
