Malinda E. was born in Canada.1 Malinda E.'s father was Francis Lamoureaux and her mother was Olive Paicard. Her maternal grandparents were Raphael Paicard and Susan LeClaire. She had six brothers named Daniel, Frances G., Gauis, O. D., Theophilus and William. She died due to Valvular Heart Disease (1 pm) on January 8th, 1935 in Wethersfield, CT (5 River Rd.).1 General Notes

MRS. JOHN REED - "Mrs. Millie Smith Reed of 5 River Road, Wethersfield, wife of John Reed, died Tuesday at her home. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Central Baptist Church for more than 40 years and also belonged to Robert O. Tyler, No. 6, WRC; Putnam Phalanx Ladies Society; Ivanough Chapter, OES; Kings Daughters, and Radiance Court, OA. Mrs. Reed was formerly the wife of the late Sergeant Lyman Smith of the Hartford Police Department. Besides her husband, she leaves two brothers, Francis G. Lamoureaux of Alberta, Canada and O. D. Lamoureaux of Lynden, Washington, a daughter, Mrs. W. L. Rowell of Lancaster, N. H.; a son, Fred W. Smith of Wethersfield; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at Furrey's Funeral Home, 826 Albany Avenue. Rev. Dr. John Newton, pastor of the Central Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Old North Cemetery."
