Cecil was born in January 1901 in Kinmundy, Marion, Illinois.1   Cecil's father was Silas Krutsinger and his mother was Bertha Wilkinson.  His paternal grandparents were Levi Krutsinger and Sarah J Mulvany; his maternal grandparents were John Ed Wilkinson and Temperance Abagail Jones. He had a brother and a sister, named Raymond Edward and Elva.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at 10 months old in November 1901.1
