Lester John was born on September 25th, 1905 in Columbus, Nebraska.1 Lester John's father was Adolph Fred Korte and his mother was Anna Louise Rickert. His paternal grandparents were William Johann Korte and Christina Barner; his maternal grandparents were John Ludvig (Rickers) Rickert and Catherine Elizabeth Heibel. He had a sister named Irene Christina. He died at the age of 77 on May 15th, 1983 in Columbus, Nebraska. He was buried in Served in WWII for 3 1/2 years (Sargent).1 1 -
