Carol J. Buzzini, 56, of Boise died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1993 in a Boise
hospital from complication of a heart attack. Funeral services will be
held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday,Jan. 4, 1994 at the Cloverdale Funeral Home.
The Rev. Ron Wekerie will officiate. A garden room reception will follow
the chapel services. Private entombment will be in Terrace Lawn Memorial
Gardens. Carol was born April 13, 1937, at Hibbing, Minn., a daughter of
Raffalena and Ludwig Kochevar. The family moved to West Pitsburg,
Calif., in 1938. She graduated from mount Diablo High School in Concord,
Calif., in 1955. She spent the summer of 1955 in New York City working
at Macy's. She married her high school sweetheart, Stan Buzzini, in May
of 1956. Carol, Stan and their three sons moved to Boise in June of
1970. In 1973, Carol began working part-time at Boise State University,
and in 1974 began working at St. Alphonsus RMC in the billing department,
and at the time of her death was an administrative supervisor. Carol
enjoyed family gatherings and time spent outside working in her rose
garden. Over the years Carol enjoyed oil painting, bowling, and her
latest love was playing with her grandson, Tony. Carol and her husband
enjoyed traveling together, and they had many plans to travel more
extensively when she was to retire. Survivors include her husband, Stan;
a son, Randy and wife, Polli, and grandson, Tony; a son, Rob and wife,
Shannan; and a son, Ryan and wife, Leigh, all of Boise; her mother,
Raffalena Kochevar; a sister , Sharon Pena and husband, G.P., and niece,
Shelley Eggers; and a brother Richard Kochevar and wife, Gloria, all in
California; and numerous relatives from the San Francisco Bay area. She
was preceded in death by her father. Carol's family would like to thank
the numerous friends that have given their love and support through this
difficult time. We would also like to thank the doctors and hospital
staff for all the love and compassion shown to Carol and her family
during her hospital stay. Memorials may be made in Carol's memory to
the American Heart Association, 270 S. Orchard, Boise 83705; or the
American Diabetes Association, 1528 Vista Ave., Boise 83705.
