Hamil Knowlton 
Hamil was born in 1823.1 Hamil's father was Henry J. Knowlton and his mother was Rebeca Southwick. His paternal grandparents were Henry Knowlton and Sybil Unknown. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Leander W, Charles, Henry, Clark, Hannah, Caroline, Ruth and Eliza. He was the third youngest of the nine children.1 -
