Joseph Knapp

Joseph was born on October 11th, 1792 in New York.¹   Joseph's father was William Knapp and his mother was Mary Holly.  His maternal grandparents were Joseph Holly and Mary Drake. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Rundell, Jabez, Charles, Nathaniel R., Samuel Holly, Catherine, Clemence Holly and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named Caleb.¹
