Remer Hampton was born on June 22nd, 1879 in Tattnall Co. GA.1 Remer Hampton's father was Eli Parks Kennedy and his mother was Jane Powell. His paternal grandparents were Hampton Kennedy and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Sikes; his maternal grandparents were Abraham Powell and Sarah Sapp. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Melton E., Infant Son, Enoch Giles, Shelton M., James Clifford, Zebie Gertrude, Sarah Ellen, Katie Elizabeth, Leona Jane and Mattie. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Clyde Clinton, Infant Twin Son, Bessie Tift and Era Alice. He died at the age of 76 on May 6th, 1956 in Tattnall Co. GA.1 -
