Frederick was born in 1670 in London, England.1 Frederick's father was Roger Jones and his mother was Dorothy Walker. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jones and Ellen Hoskins; his maternal grandparents were John Walker and Susannah Unknown. He had a brother named Thomas. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 52 in 1722 in "Hayes", Edenton, Chowan Co. NC.1 General Notes

Will: Chowan Co 9 Apr 1722-26 Mar 1723: names eldest dau. Jan, dau. Martha, dau. Rebecca, eldest son William Harding, son Thomas, son Frederick, brother Thomas Jones of VGA.
