Ballard Jones

Ballard was born on May 30th, 1897 in GA.¹   Ballard's father was Miles C. Jones and his mother was Mary Ballard.  His paternal grandparents were James V. Jones and Naomi C. Atkerson; his maternal grandmother was Harriette Unknown. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Joseph, Robert E. and Ellen.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 85 on November 21st, 1982.  He was buried in Liberty Co., GA.^1 1
