1 Martha's father was Charles W. Johnston and her mother was Lydia Cabe. Her maternal grandparents were John Cabe and Mary Strayhorn. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Charles W., John C., Thomas, Dena C., Margaret S. and Mariah.1 -
