Abigail was born on October 24th, 1661.1   Abigail's father was William Johnson and her mother was Elizabeth Bushnell.  Her paternal grandfather was Robert Johnson. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Sarah, Sarah, Mercy, Mary, Hannah (Ann) and Martha.1
