Daniel was born in Attleboro, MA.1 Daniel's father was Daniel Jenks and his mother was Katherine Balcom Allen. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Jenks and Elizabeth Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Balcom and Jane Holbrook. He had a brother and six sisters, named Joseph, Elizabeth, Abigail, Martha, Susanna, Ruth and Hannah. He had a half-sister named Mary. He died on January 24th, 1789.1 -
