Martha James 
Martha was born before 1795.1 Martha's father was Abel James and her mother was Rebecca Chalkley. Her paternal grandparents were George James and Susannah Hingston; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Chalkley and Martha Spicer. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Abel, Chalkley, George, Joseph, Rebecca and Sussannah. She was the second youngest of the seven children.1 -
