Agnes Lucinda "Lula" Or "Lulu" was born on November 3rd, 1877 in Braintree, Orange County, Vermont.1 Agnes Lucinda "Lula" Or "Lulu"'s father was Henry Joseph Hyzer and her mother was Paulina Jane Blanchard. Her paternal grandparents were Davis D. Hyzer and Martha Ann Pratt; her maternal grandparents were Bernard (Barnard) Blanchard and Harriet S. Fuller. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry Clinton, Homer Edward, Otto Lewis, Paul Raymond, Mattie Harriet "Mattie Hattie", Eleanor Paulina, Lottie Francis and Clytie Henrietta. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 78 on May 12th, 1956.1 General Notes

Born in Braintree, Vermont.
On her Birth Record, her name is Agnes H. Hyzer and on her death record it is Lucinda Agnes Hyzer. Whether these are errors or not, I do not know but all her life she used the name Lula Agnes Hyzer.
She was never married and had an illegitimate daughter, Evangeline Alida who married Frank Wood. She was born in 1898. Mr. Wood was born in October 2, 1871 and died in 1950. They had a daughter, Rebecca.
Rebecca married Boyce Nichols & had 4 sons... Robert, Michael, David, Bruce.
It is said that Lula Hyzer was engaged to Charlie Woodbury of South Royalton and that her sister, Lottie, went to help her prepare for the wedding. After meeting Lottie, Charlie fell in love with her and married her. Lula never forgave her for that. Lula was a redhead.
