Maria was born on December 22nd, 1605 in Alford, Lincolnshire, England and her baptism took place there on December 22nd, 1605.1   Maria's father was Edward Hutchinson and her mother was Susanna Unknown. She had six brothers and four sisters, named William, Theophilus, Samuel, John, Edward, Richard, Esther Or Hester, Susanna, Susanna and Anne.1
