Samuel Hoyt 
Samuel was born on July 3rd, 1678 in Stamford, CT.1 Samuel's father was Joshua Hoyt and his mother was Mary Bell. His paternal grandparents were Simon Hoyt and Susannah Smith; his maternal grandparents were Francis Bell and Rebecca. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Joshua, Moses, Mary, Rebecca, Sarah, Hannah and Abigail. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 60 on August 10th, 1738 in Stamford, CT.1 -
