Robert Lee Howard 
Robert Lee was born on June 7th, 1886 in Orange Co., N. C..1 Robert Lee's father was George Sidney Howard and his mother was Nancy Anne Pugh. His paternal grandparents were Julious Howard and Elizabeth Ada Sykes; his maternal grandparents were Leander Pugh and Mary Anne "Fanny" Ray. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Monroe, James William, Julia Janett, Rachel Euginia, Olivia Juanita and Sallie. He died at the age of 70 on October 27th, 1956.1 -
