Jane was born in 1859 in CLINCH COUNTY, GEORGIA.1   Jane's father was Lewis Holland and her mother was Caroline Sapp. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Dempsey Daniel, David Henry, Sarah Ann, Betty and Georgian.  She was the second youngest of the six children.1
